Advancing safer roads for every QCitizen

ImagineLaw, in partnership with the Quezon City Government and with support from the Partnership for Healthy Cities under Vital Strategies, conducted a workshop to co-develop the action and communications plans for the City’s Comprehensive Road Safety Code. The activity brought together the Road Safety Working Group and key city offices to translate policy into concrete and measurable implementation strategies.

The workshop built on earlier efforts to strengthen the city’s road safety framework, including the development of the implementing rules and regulations in October 2025 and the Star Rating for Schools training in November 2025. While the ordinance had already been enacted, implementation gaps highlighted the need for a more systematic approach.

Through planning sessions, participants established a shared vision for road safety in Quezon City, identified priority programs, mapped key stakeholders, addressed implementation challenges, and defined clear key performance indicators. The communications component also aligned strategies to raise public awareness and build support for consistent enforcement.
