ImagineLaw engages youth at “Pilipinas, TobaccOFF NOW!” campaign for World No Tobacco Day 2026

ImagineLaw joined Filipino youth advocates in the “Pilipinas, TobaccOFF NOW!” campaign, held last May 23 in observance of World No Tobacco Day 2026. The “Pilipinas, TobaccOFF NOW!” campaign forms part of a growing global youth movement calling for urgent action to address rising nicotine use and to protect the next generation from addiction and related health harms. The campaign was organized in solidarity with the global “F* Nicotine” movement, which also mobilized youth advocates in Brazil, Indonesia, Mexico, and the United States to raise awareness on the health harms of tobacco and vape products and to push for stronger protection measures for young people.

ImagineLaw set up an interactive booth activity titled “Vape ba ‘To?” where participants were shown a series of images and challenged to identify whether each image depicted a vape product or an everyday object. The activity highlighted how tobacco and vape products are increasingly designed to look appealing and familiar, making it more difficult for young people to recognize them. Booth visitors who successfully identified the correct answers received RISE v. Tobacco merchandise as prizes, reinforcing key messages on tobacco control and encouraging continued youth engagement in public health advocacy.
