RISE v. Tobacco sub-grantees in Fiji announced
ImagineLaw officially welcomed four organizations in Fiji as grantees under the RISE v. Tobacco project: 10,000 Toes in the Trans Pacific, Medical Services Pacific, Consumer Council of Fiji, and Fiji Cancer Society.
Through the project, these organizations will receive support to help advance tobacco control efforts and contribute to protecting communities from the harms of tobacco and nicotine products. Their work will play an important role in strengthening public awareness about tobacco control, supporting health policy implementation, and promoting healthier environments across Fiji.
RISE v. Tobacco is a regional initiative that seeks to strengthen tobacco control in Asia and the Pacific by providing financial, technical, and legal support to governments, civil society organizations, and communities. By supporting local partners and fostering collaboration, the project aims to build momentum for evidence-based tobacco control measures and accelerate efforts to reduce tobacco use and its health, social, and economic impacts throughout the region.
